Lost Creek Creates — Terms of Sale, Returns, Lead Times, and Chargeback Policy

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing from Lost Creek Creates, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to all policies listed below. These terms are binding once an order is placed. Failure to read these policies does not void enforcement.

Custom & Made-To-Order Product Policy

Most Lost Creek Creates products are made-to-order, customized, or built specifically for each customer.

Because of this:

• ALL CUSTOM SALES ARE FINAL
• No cancellations once production has started
• Production is considered started at the time of purchase, as materials, labor allocation, design preparation, and production scheduling begin immediately
• No returns on custom, personalized, or made-to-order items
• No returns on items made in requested colors, sizes, hardware selections, paint, stain, or engraving

Custom work includes (but is not limited to):

• Custom leather collars
• Painted or stained leather products
• Engraved or named items
• Custom kennel accessories
• Made-to-order training gear

Production & Lead Time Disclaimer

All production and shipping timelines provided by Lost Creek Creates are estimates only and are not guaranteed completion or delivery dates.

Because our products are handmade, made-to-order, or custom manufactured, lead times may vary due to, but not limited to:

• Order volume
• Material availability
• Custom design complexity
• Equipment maintenance or failure
• Supplier delays
• Weather events
• Shipping carrier delays
• Personal or family emergencies affecting a small business operation

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree:

• Lead times are approximate production windows, not guaranteed completion dates
• Orders may ship earlier or later than estimated
• Variations in lead time do NOT qualify for cancellation, refund, or chargeback
• Delays outside of our control do not constitute failure to deliver goods
• Customer acknowledges purchase is for a custom manufactured good with variable production timelines and agrees delays do not constitute non-delivery or fraud

Lost Creek Creates will always make reasonable efforts to meet estimated timelines but does not guarantee completion or delivery by any specific date unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

Production & Shipping Time Acknowledgement

By placing an order, you acknowledge:

• Production timelines are clearly stated at time of purchase
• Business days do NOT include weekends or holidays
• Shipping delays caused by carriers are outside our control
• Custom products require build time and are NOT mass-produced or instant fulfillment

Failure to read or understand lead times does not qualify for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.

Color, Material, and Finish Variation Disclaimer

Lost Creek Creates uses natural materials, hand-applied finishes, and small-batch manufacturing processes. Because of this, variations are normal and expected.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree:

• Colors may appear different in person than on screens due to monitor, phone, or lighting differences
• Leather is a natural material and may show variations in grain, texture, firmness, and natural markings
• Hand-dyed, painted, or stained items may have slight color variation, tone shifts, or natural finish inconsistencies
• Painted leather products are durable but will show wear over time, especially under heavy use
• Hardware finishes (black, brass, stainless, coated finishes) may vary slightly between batches
• Black coated hardware may show wear, edge wear, or patina over time
• Brass hardware will naturally patina and may darken or change tone over time
• Stainless hardware may show minor cosmetic surface marks but is highly corrosion resistant
• Biothane and synthetic materials may vary slightly in shade or texture between production batches

These variations are normal characteristics of handcrafted and natural material products and are NOT considered defects.

Color tone differences, natural leather markings, finish wear, patina development, or batch-to-batch material differences do NOT qualify for returns, refunds, replacements, or chargebacks.

Address Accuracy & Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing correct shipping address at checkout
• Monitoring tracking information once shipped
• Contacting carrier for delivery issues

Lost Creek Creates is NOT responsible for:

• Packages shipped to addresses entered incorrectly by customer
• Theft after delivery confirmation
• Carrier delays or routing errors

Return Policy (Non-Custom Items Only)

If a NON-CUSTOM item is eligible for return:

• Must be unused and in original condition
• Must be approved BEFORE return is sent
• Customer pays return shipping
• Original shipping cost is non-refundable
• 15–25% restocking fee may apply

Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Warranty & Craftsmanship

We stand behind workmanship — not misuse.

Warranty does NOT cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Chewing damage
• Improper use
• Cosmetic wear (paint wear, coating wear, hardware finish wear)
• Damage from training misuse or environmental exposure

Chargeback & Payment Dispute Policy (Zero Tolerance Fraud Protection)

Lost Creek Creates aggressively disputes fraudulent chargebacks.

By placing an order, you agree:

• You will contact us BEFORE filing any dispute
• Filing a chargeback without attempting resolution may be considered fraudulent activity
• We submit ALL evidence to payment processors including:

• IP address
• Checkout verification data
• Order timestamps
• Policy acceptance records
• Tracking and delivery confirmation
• Customer communications
• Product build documentation

Fraudulent disputes may be escalated and reported where applicable.

Refusal of Service

Lost Creek Creates reserves the right to:

• Cancel orders from abusive customers
• Refuse future service
• Block accounts attempting policy abuse or fraud

Small Business Manufacturing Disclosure

Lost Creek Creates is a small, specialized manufacturing shop producing handcrafted gear. Production time, material sourcing, and craftsmanship are part of the product value and process.
