The holes were off and the plates didn't fit flush with the kennel, they are beautifully made though, just didn't work for me.

It looks awesome. The plastic is a little thin, but it's not a piece that gets beat on like most gear for a waterfowler. In comparison to the normal Gunner metal plate it feels thin. But it serves its purpose and looks awesome. Just don't use it as a hammer, common sense.
