The Puppy Criterion Padded Agitation Collar is built using the exact same construction, materials, and hardware standards as our full-size Criterion collars — just scaled appropriately for working puppies up to 6 months old.
Protecting a growing puppy is extremely important. During early development and training, proper gear fit and padding help prevent unnecessary strain while allowing your puppy to safely learn, build confidence, and develop correct working behaviors.
These collars are offered exclusively in 1.5 inch width, paired with our ¼" foam padding core, helping distribute pressure more evenly across the neck while providing structure, support, and comfort during early training and exposure work.
Leather Construction & Structure
Built using nearly 10oz American-made veg-tan leather, this collar delivers durability and structure while remaining slightly more flexible and appropriate for growing puppies.
The main body of this collar can be painted or stained.

Painted Option: Uses a flexible, leather-specific paint and durable clear coat. Designed to flex with movement but will show natural wear over time.

Stained Option: Penetrates the leather for a natural, classic working-dog finish.
Each collar is glued, stitched, and reinforced to ensure long-term structural integrity.
Padding & Puppy Protection
The Puppy Criterion Collar is built with a ¼" foam padding core wrapped in durable Napa lambskin.
The combination of 1.5" width and ¼" padding helps protect your puppy’s neck while they learn bite work fundamentals, leash pressure, and early working scenarios — helping keep them safe during critical growth stages.
